WOW!

Well, it has been welllllll over a year since i have posted anything on my blog. I am happy to say I had a beautiful baby girl, Isabella Pilar. She is the best baby girl in the world. She is the easiest baby I have ever seen. She is six months old, has 2 teeth, and is sitting up all by herself! Time has flown with her. Isabella is my world.

Christmas Ornament #2!

Alanna!
I had bought this spoon at the Hospice Resale Shop before my best friends daughter was even born! I had made the diaper cake for her and had leftover ribbon so I used that for her "Baby's First Christmas" ornament. I dont like my writting job very much but I have to find the right brush! All I did was bend this baby spoon, make a bow, and write on a piece of wood and this is the outcome. I love the bow! The spoon after it was bent!

And the finish product! I will post a picture of it hanging on the tree as soon as I get it!

Christmas Ornament

With a little help from Michaels, I bought this sleigh for my sister. She LOVES anything with the American flag. So I remembered I had this Star fabric....and I know I can mix some colors to make the red for the stripes a little deeper. I cut the star fabric and used Modge Podge to put it on the top part. Pained the red and the off white and TADAAAAA!!!!

Halloween, Yea I know...A little late!

My nephew , Benjamin, was a Garden Gnome for Halloween! I had to post it! He was so cute!Add Image

Back at it!

Since my blog had deleted all my stuff a little while back, I am going to have to re-do some stuff. But I have a couple new crafts I can post! It has been a busy couple months. Best friends had a beautiful baby girl and I made her a diaper cake. I have seen them all over the place and I just loved them. So I was happy to be able to make one!

The top tier of the cake!

Please don't mind my ironing board and the laundry basket in the picture. You will see the ironing board a lot I am affraid.

All I did was use about 70-72 SWADDLERS (diapers), baby powder and a cheap little bottle, rubber bands, and anything you would like to decorate it with. I knew I was going to be putting thick ribbon around it so you may want to think of that too while picking out your decorations. These items were used to hold it all together. You need to roll all of the diapers to make them into little rolls. Keep them together with rubber bands. For the bottom tier i used the baby powder to use as a base. I just continued to build out with the rolled up diapers. It is the easiest thing to do! You can put whatever kind of decorations you want! The posiblities are endless. (lol)
